Dailymotion is a video streaming and storage service with which you can easily share videos online and watch videos uploaded by other people.

Though not as popular as YouTube, Dailymotion offers a nice selection of features, such as support for HD video, options to share a video on several social networks or by email, and the ability to embed a video in your blog or website.

Videos in Dailymotion are organized in categories – the so called Channels - among which you'll find Music, Film & TV, Sports, Tech & Science, News, Gaming, Arts and Travel. There’s also a built-in search tool to find videos about any specific topic.

Watching videos in Dailymotion doesn’t require a user account, but you’ll need to create one if you want to upload content or leave comments on other people’s videos. The good thing about the Dailymotion sign-up process is that you can use Facebook Connect to create your account.

The basic Dailymotion account lets you upload videos of up to 2 GB in size or 20 minutes in length. You can also mark videos as favorites and create playlists. The MotionMaker account, on the other hand, is aimed at people who want to upload more creative content and videos they have produced themselves.

Though not as popular as YouTube, Dailymotion is still a great service to watch, upload and share videos online
